kiln Drying

Nyle L-200m De-humidification Kiln

We run a de-humidification kiln next to our shop from Nyle Kiln Systems out of Brewer, Maine. Unlike a tradition kiln of using heat to remove moisture from wood this system uses fans to generate air flow between the stacks of wood. That air is pulled into this unit that removes the humidity in that air as it passes through. This allows for a quicker dry time than tradition heat kilns.

Shipping container design

Our kiln is located inside a fully insulated shipping container that allows us to dry up to 2,000 board feet at a time.

fans and baffling

4 large fans on the containers ceiling generate the air flow between sticker-ed wood. We baffle off every open area to create maximum air flow between the pile.

Contact us about rates for drying. Rates vary with wood species and drying times.
